COVID UPDATE, ONLINE ORDERS
Australia Post seems to be delivering Express Post items with nearly normal delivery times in July 2021,
We pack truffle in anticipation of delayed delivery and it seems to easily handle 3-5 (and more) days in transit. Top quality, ripe truffle ships and stores very well.
But we cannot guarantee delivery times or condition if delayed a week.
Extra cover insurance will be in place on any shipments, it will be the customer's responsibility to pursue claims with Australia Post.
The Express Post, Next Day Guarantee remains suspended, but they still claim to deliver within 5 business days

Truffle Ordering
Current week's orders & cleared payment must be received by Sunday for online shipping.
These cutoff times may shift earlier during the season, currently set as late as possible.
Orders are filled on a first come, first served basis.
To pre-order for the following week or later, please use a specific pre-order listing if one is active, or add a comment in order note.
Trade Orders & how to view Pricing
To open a site membership,
- join via the online page,
- or send a Purchase Order with ABN etc.
Membership upgrades to Trade and contact messages will be processed as time permits
Restaurants must login with site membership to view/access trade pricing.
Payment must clear before initial shipment, (Direct deposit via POLI verifies instantly).

- Farm Gate by appointment
- Melbourne Metro, courier, we no longer hand deliver to Melbourne
- Express Post
We reserve the right to refuse a membership/sale. (Eg. past tardy accounts)
Receiving Truffles
Your online truffles are packed in an insulated parcel for short duration express shipping.
- The parcel must be collected promptly, unpacked, inspected and stored properly.

- No responsibility will be accepted for customers failing to do so.
- If some fault or problem is present upon delivery, contact us immediately.
eGift Cards
We use our credit card processor, SquareUP to issue and track eGift Card values.
This provides robust record keeping, and continuity even if we decide to alter the online store.
Voucher codes do not expire, exceeding 3 years required by ACCC rules.

Contact us for refund conditions and return authorization number.
Order cancellations
Online Truffle
Customer initiated cancellations, must be received and acknowledged before the order is shipped, else once shipped full payment is due, no refunds given.
Truffle Hunts & other events
Cancellation policy is 50% refund with minimum of 72 hours prior notice. Later cancellations will not be refunded.
Refunds & Returns
Change of mind is not accepted for produce.
eGift Cards cannot be redeemed for cash.
Invoiced Trade Goods
Goods remain the property of Yarra Valley Truffles until payment is received in full and funds cleared.
Overdue invoices will not qualify for any offered discounts that may be on the invoice.
